Ha ha being the Genius that I am I used the Petrol/Terps outside!!

Unfortunately the only container I could find big enough to douse the manifold in was the dogs food bin!!!!!!! At least the dog has a full belly.....For now!! Its the Mrs dog anyway so who cares!!!!!! :) ;)
 
Ok......Well I am still alive!! I did a fair bit of "bob and weaving" tho!!!!

Car drives great is noticeably more responsive and runs smoother...... However I have the duck problem!!

I don't notice it whilst driving but when I switch the engine off there is a 3-4 second quack whilst shutting down.

Anyone tried using carb cleaner? Worked a treat for me but maybe my egr valve wasnt as bad as some altho I did think it was mingin.
 
Never thought about using the bath,I thought thats what dishwashers were for.

Did you think about bathing the kids at the same time to save water.

Definetely :) . Ive never driven one with egr blanked to know any comparison. Mine drives quite well but maybe im missing out here! To be honest I think I think I just like being able to tell my insurers I havent done any mods.......im a **** poor liar.:eek:

That's what I tell mine as well lol. Once you start on the mods there's no stopping you. Definitely makes a difference with the EGR blank done, but then there's the BMW crank breather mod, the 2 stroke oil mod all make a difference.
 
Might have to have a look t getting on with some mods then! Ive just been doing the standard servicing up until now and I was thinking of changing it but decided to keep it. Time for a new lease of life for the old hippo!
 
I've had mine almost 8 years now and feel the same every time I jump in it just love it. It pulls my 1600kg caravan with ease couldn't wish for a better tug.
