Anyone know a good alternative to waxoyal not engine oil as research sugeusts it dosnt work.dinatrol exet?

Thanks for the reply but im not changing any oil.I posted about chassis rot in the past and had loads of info posted still researching as its not the nicest of jobs and the s##t they are covering the roads with at the first sighn of snow is geting worse.carnt remember half the names of the stuf others have used.but did come across reaserch that had been done on engine oil.also the faults with waxoyal to thick excet dont do a lot from my experience.

I have chosen (for right or wrong) to do my cavities (on the truck!) and the chassis with Dinitrol. Like you I spent several days reading and reading and ended up going around in circles with all the different advice.

My original plan was to grind all the chassis back to bare metal, use a primer like Bonda with two coats, then a chassis black topcoat, then Dinitrol. However I decided to call Dinitrol and explained that I had a discovery 2 with surface rust, nothing too extensive and is more like rust spots here and there. I explained my intentions and the guy I spoke to felt it would be unnecessary. He said to just brush off the loose rust, jet wash the underneath, leave to dry. Spray any rust with their rust convertor primer then use the cavity wax first on the whole chassis inside and out, then the black wax after.

That is the approach I have decided to take as it sure is a whole lot less effort.

Hello yes i am thinking dinitrol also.Ive got jenolite and a por 15 chassis kit.I do feel it would be worth geting as much to the metal as posable and then por rust inhibiter then the paint top coat.I was recomended jenolite for the inside.I do feel you need some kind of paint though.I might leave the wax stuf altogether just use the por15 kit then jet wash through the snow season. Were can you buy dinitrol and collect rather than through the post do you know.
