The first time I tried to rebuild a valve block and compressor I used the XR8 kit from eBay. Did not work out well. I then came across a kit from 4x4Airseals on eBay and used that with success. I have used one of their kits in a second valve block and compressor as well. They are no longer selling on eBay however they have a website and will take orders. Fitting the piston seal is a bit involved so pay close attention to the instructions.

Just replace the complete dryer, new seals and no risk of desiccant causing problems, they are not expensive.

Are you after kits to refurb them yourself?

I do a set with a brand new complete piston( con rod) and brand new cylinder to go with it.
Also a brand new filter .
Piston is complete assembly they are brand with grub screw and cylinder to fit over it included

i can show a pic if my fuddled writing does not make sense lol

I've always gone for the former using the 'shop-around' approach, but whether or not that's the most economical route is debatable.

The place down the road from me charges £10 per wheel for the fitting. That includes the new valves, balancing weights and labour. I am guessing they are all much of a muchness. I don't know what tge £ to € is at the moment but seems the same ball-park.

The tyres I bought on line are over 50% more at a tyre place so even with fitting, on line is much cheaper.

I think the market place has moved on - most local fitters around SW London are signed up with one or other website - my last 4 came through tyreshopper, and you just choose which one - fitted and balanced

Not long ago there was a Dutch firm supplying parts for EAS. Their black piston seal was total rubbish, looks like someone else has taken up the flag of producing crap.

Thats the problem with eBay, there is tons of crap boasting as genuine or quality. There are a few but only a few genuine sellers with quality products.
This morning there were 4 Arnott air bags (looked like) with no markings or dates on the plastic caps and one of the aluminum ends had been ground down where the pin goes in.... NEW' it said
