I was out for a run the other night and ran past this in somebody's scrap metal pile outside their house. I offered to give it a better home than being weighed in for scrap, and was told to help myself. Plan is to be able to tow my little lad around behind the garden tractor.
Anyway, a bit (ok a lot) of work and it now looks like this...
However I'm now looking for a very specific type of Landy style dropdown tailgate antiluce fastener. It needs to look exactly like this...I want to screw it to the "end" panels, which are fixed, so I can drop the "side" panels.
I think it's called a cranked antiluce, and although I can find them in New Zealand, I can't find a UK supplier...
All I can find in the UK is the standard weld on (no good as I can't weld to wood!) or bolt on (which means I'll need some kind of right angles bracket anyway.
Any pointers people?
