Great Brian, glad you are coming What sort of tyres you going to get, or am I not allowed to ask in case it becomes a tyre thread
Well I have a challenge this week, fit my winch bumper. Nrgserv doesn't think I can do it and while he is probably right, I like a challenge

Not if you are in front
I found that out last time!
In all honesty, will my standard Disco be OK for this trip?
Noooooo!
There are one or two more difficult ones (in my opinion) but they would be easy to go round
looks like it to me you are lol :emps1:Would that be before I've started to drive down them??
NOTE: I am not blaming Sue in any way.

Disco2TD5 - if you have good spotter(s) then yes a stock Disco will survive. Initially I wasn't going to go down Belford, but what an awesome feeling after I'd done it
If you don't want the bodywork to have ANY scratches from tree branches/brambles etc. then don't go down any overgrown lanes.
One thing I forgot to mention before is that I always seemed to end up a long way behind (Sorry Neil!). I didn't go any faster on the "flat" bits because it felt like the Disco was taking a hammering - is this due to having the stock 18" wheels perhaps??
