Anyhoo, 4 hrs, and me cam belt is done, including resetting the timing completly!! she runs nicely now, think i might even be able to tweak the pump up a bit more, cos the smoking has stopped when you boot it
Well chuffed, 3rd timing belt ive done, first one ive got right
was a slight oh f**k moment when I dropped one of the O rings for the oil cooler, found it again tho...
Old belt was fooked to say the least, was still on the old idler guide type, about an 1/8" was worn off the side, and the rest didnt look great, at least I know it will be fine for another 5 or 6 years now
