just finished boot floor, rear inner and outer arches, and a mohoosive hole where all the wiring comes through the boot floor behind the o/s light cluster..

did outer sills last year, now gotta do some work on the inner sills, where the body mounts attach...

so far used 1kilo of wire and 1m x 0.3m of steel so far..

hoping to get er done by friday and re-tested..

how did you do your arches nick did you use them repair panels, how bad are the body mounts on her, i had to replace mine used a bit of 4" angle and 100x50 box section for sill worst part is cutting out but id say it was worth doing

the rubber seal between the inner wheel arch and the rear quarter panel was gone and most of the metal it attached to.. when i got all the interior trim out the inner wing was no longer attached to the inner wheel arch. so i put a flat plate on top of wheel arch and slid it under the "c" post and inner wing and welded it to the top of the arch and welded it to the bottom of the "c" post. then welded the inner wing to the new metal.. i need to get under the outer wheel arch and weld the plate to the bottom of it..

the floor had rotted where the rear seat supports rest on the floor and also the panel that surrounds the inner when arch. so cut out all the rot and made up some new panels and welded em in.. they were 3 feet x 6inch..

rear offside corner where wiring comes through the floor.. someone had added some wiring for the tow bar electrics.. pulled the rubber grommets out and not resealed the floor.. this had let water in and most of that corner was gone.. wasnt too bad.. mostly just a flat piece, but some of the inner quarter panel had gone too and thats a weird shape to try and fabricate.. ended up making it in 3 pieces to get em to fit..

did the mounts on the rear crossmember a couple a weeks ago and they passed..

the mounts on inner sill are solid just not attached to the sill!!

so hopefully i'll just cut out the rot and replace the section of the inner sill and re-attach the mounts to the new metal..
