Hello, hopefully get some help with this

My rangie has got starting issues, turns over for about 2 minutes before starting, I have replaced the secondary fuel pump under the tank behind the small flap, still no joy!!
whilst turning it over I sprayed a small squirt of brake cleaner down the air filter and it fires up and runs ,runs fine with no issues just doesn't start!!
When this prob surfaced I checked the glow plugs for power and have since found the relay to be knackered this has been changed and the plugs now get power, but I don't believe this was the original problem, while the inlet manifold was off I cleaned all the gunk out of it put it back together and used the car again(the starting issue was intermittent now its not starting unless I turn it over for about 2 mins.

new air and fuel filter fitted

Any ideas appreciated

I take it the new fuel filter is seated correctly and not allowing air into the system? A main sealer left the old seal on the filter housing and fitted the new seal with the filter and it dragged air in. They couldn't sort it and the owner came to us.

just been out to check the fuel filter, the clamp that holds the piece on the top on wasn't fitted correctly(by me)
not counting my chickens yet as the problem was intermittent to start with but fingers crossed!!!!

car is starting ok now, will try again later
let you know how this develops
