Can this be done? I have a 1996 Range Rover 4.0 with EAS, and the engine went bad, and I found a 1999 Rover with the 4.6 but doesnt have the EAS, is it possible to move it over from the 96? Sorry if this has been posted, I can only seem to find people trying go from EAS to Coil when I search it.

Is there any parts of the old EAS system left on the 4.6 (ie; compressor, control unit or pipework). I cant see a problem unless landrover at some point between the 2 build years had a major change of wiring/software. Are they both the same spec level vehicles SE or HSE???

Of course it can be done and i applaud you for that project.

I've done it once for a customer that didn't like the coil conversion ride...

Easy to do as long people didn't trash EAS box or height sensors

BTW there's a great tutorial about that reconversion on rangerovers.net

yes it can!if i can fit it to rr that came with coils then doing it one designed for air should be a breeze.(excuse the pun )

Oh nice:), you've used LSE bits to do that ??

I have a Wadham Stringer RRC ambulance that a friend imported to France to put on air.
