Landy Luvver I hope you get your problem sorted. It almost certainly sounds like a cv joint or link arm - not expensive and considered servicable items that need replacing on any car. Don't worry, get it to a freindly local garage and they will help.

Now to get on my high horse for my FIRST and LAST post. I even registered to say this and it is aimed at people Like Stupid Hat Man and Gay Fired Disco or whatever their names are.

I currently own a Freelander, a Range Rover, an Audi A4 and a VW Golf and I am an avid fan of forums and a member of the volks and audi forums which are ever so helpul, encouraging and a massive source of information to owners out that need help, advice, or just a place to chat.

Without doubt this is the most miserable, unhelpful and childish forum that I have ever come across and members like those above should be ashamed of themselves. You will find that a member that has an Audi A6 who doesn't particularly like A3's will still be respectful and helpful to a member with an A3 who needs advice. Not so here I see, just defamatory remarks of a playground nature.

Stupid Hat man - be aware:

1) Your grammar is awful. Please learn to spell when posting.
2) You are not helpful in any way to Freelander owners and should have no part in this or any forum. I believe you are a fool.

Enough Said. Cheers all

:blah::blah::yawn::bored: BYE!

Where, Howardo, on my posts do you come to the conclusion that "Hello landy luvver, For a start you've been talking to folk on here that hate freelanders and want them all burnt."

I didn't name anyone in the post but I could trawl though your old posts on the forum to prove you hate freelanders.

You should have stuck around abit longer to see that MHM is very knowledgeable and helpful in the freelander section even though he hates them. Gasfireddisco currently has a freelander and also offers helpful advice. If you did stick around you would learn that this is the only Landrover Forum worth being on because of the freedom of speech that we are allowed to have on here.
Tractorboys verses the Freelanderers is acceptable forum banter.

Not at all. they are, in my opinion, one of the best looking SUV's in its class. I just think the design and build quality leave, to say the least, a lot to be desired and that prospective owners should be aware of their likely problems. The same as anyone buying a Disco or defender should be told about RUST. Mind you, I have seen recently issues being raised about major significant (structural) corrosion on freelanders. Time will tell.
