Any ideas on why my carb fed 3.5 won't keep it's oil pressure up ??
It has a filter conversion attached to the oil pump, which is pointing the filter forwards if that's relevant....anyway.....
Fitted filter adaptor to oil pump
Vaselined up the pump gears
Changed oil and filter
Started engine
No oil pressure
removed dizzy and made up special tool
Put tool in drill attached to pump...wahaaay oil pressure
Run engine (with dizzy back in
) 30 psi oil pressure 10 minutes running..........no oil pressure
Repeat above......get to
stage and get drunk.....Other than staying drunk...any ideas guys ????
