That would be both rocker covers then, cylinder numbers alternate side to side. I find it almost imperceptible that a cam shaft would fail only on even cylinders. This has to be something to do with the injectors or injection sequence.
am i missing something? 1357 is the pasasenger bank,2468 is the driver side bank......isnt it????

Yes of course it is silly me. I cannot conceive that the cam shaft would choose only even cylinders to wear on. It is possible that all the even or the odd cylinders, could be effected if an head had been over skimmed and no spacers put under the rocker pedestals. But he has done a compression test and obtained 175 PSI on all cylinders so i think that is out of the window. ;);)

you would be surprised,i had a knackered cam on mine most off the lobes were pretty worn and on two cylinders the exhaust valve barely moved.ticked over smooth as silk, drove like a knackered, unchipped diesel!!! anyways if the cam is fine, and it really does only run on one bank then i would be looking in the ecu,s direction as mafs, coil packs, cam sensors etc would affect both banks equally.shame he,s not closer i would have had a shufti.ps it isnt the lpg either as that just mimics the petrol side and as i understand it ,it wont run on petrol either.

YOU CHEEKY PLICK, now't wrong with a diesel, chipped or not.:D

To be fair I wouldn't describe the TD as "smooth as silk". Smooth as a diesel, yes! Definitely not that sluggish if I plant my foot though. And quicker over a long run because I don't have to visit every petrol station on the way.

All these things have already been mentioned cannot be MAF, cannot be coil packs as said by you just now and by me previously. Must be ECU or LPG linkup to it or as you say a dedicated sensor to that side. Something is cocking the injection sequence up on both fuel systems.

Also trim bank a and b are 0 nanocom says they should be close to 1.0
Sensor bank a and be are both reading 0.44

its relevant because some systems like omvl/bigas/romano etc use multiplugs,to connect the injectors and others like stag use piggy backs on the injectors, its possible with omvl for instance to "cross link" the banks.it will still run and tickover smooth but be awfull when driving.did you do the work yourself?
