Can any one help????? I've fitted new brake shoes to my 1958 series 2, now I am trying to bleed them, I have tried everything from pressurising to having landy at nearly 90 deg to try and get air out of master cylinder. i can pump the brakes about 6 times, and get a brake I pause for a few seconds and peddle goes straight to the floor again. been bleeding now for 2 days and 6 litres of fluid later, still no brakes!!!!!!! ANY IDEAS. Many thanks.

Sorry forgot to mention have also fitted new master cylinders clutch and brake. It doesn't splash when I pump the peddle, but have noticed the odd bubble in reservoir when pumping, but not all the time.?

prime the master cylinder first undo the pipes to it and pump pedal, till fluid comes out without bubbles.
You may need to tap end of master cylinder when pedal released to get it to return while bleeding.

What cylinder have you got cb type with big nut on the back or the cv type same as the clutch cylinder.
Most important what make is it?
