I've been a member for sometime going back to when I had a P38
I would like to say hello first & then can anybody help with the following?
My partner has a 03 freelander1 td4, we had problems with the car hesitating & the engine management light coming on, This turned out to be a bad connection on the rail pressure sensor (Now fixed).
We have started to experience the car (I'm guessing kangarooing is the best way of explaining it) as it's driven at about 2000 revs & sometimes hesitant to review higher.
No engine management lights come on or faults registered in the obd.
It's not all the time & she starts on the button & there's no smoke & once up to speed there's no problems.
I've just fitted a K&N air filter & new vacuum system breather filter.
These seem to have made the car rev more freely.
I'm waiting for new silicone hoses (as our ones seem soft), a crankcase oil separater & a egr removal kit to turn up.
Not sure how much of a difference this lot will make but can't wait to find out.
Any ideas on what else to look at?
