Newby help with outriggers

i did wonder that myself, that jack was one of 2 and axel stands, so i reccon i was safe. The problem appears to be where there have been front mudguards after the outriggers as i've had a good look over the chassis and its pretty good - its had the rear cross member changed at some point though..
 
landy AKA Dennis is going to be fixed tomorrow, fingers crossed there isn't too much else to go wrong as im planning to drive it to Spain in October ..!
 
one side of the outriggers are done, more problems unfortunately - looks like it needs new shock absorber, track rod end and some welding - welding is done, so what should i do - replace all the socks and springs and go for a lift kit - or should i just go for OEM replacement shocks?

I need the landy to be a good reliable work horse ... and i aint got wads of cash either...







 
You'll probably need new turret's too and retaining rings. Standard springs and gas dampers, no lift, is the way to go.
