Hi guys. So I’ve been looking for a four wheel drive to tow my boat. I’ve had terranos, lovely motor, and 4 Iveco daily vans over the years, so thought it was time I tried a freelander. So got a 2003 TD4 HSE. Lovely car, just what I need, but all I can say is I’m glad I enjoy getting my hands dirty! Starts and runs perfectly but has lots of fuel pooling around the injectors. I changed the plastic T pieces for brass ones - still leaking. Any ideas, please? Thanks, john.

Welcome to the site Pal , the site holds info on biblical proportions, I've just done a quick search using the search bar " .. deisel around injectors " and it throws up a fair bit info on what it could be , brittle fuel lines being one possibility, have a bash at searching , gives you some good pointers and things to check prior to shelling out your hard earned unnecessarily

Thank you for the welcome mate, appreciated. I will search the site for a possible answer to a very frustrating problem. Cheers.
