Hi there everyone.New member to this site, but have been interested in Landy's for years (ever since a friend took me to Bovington Tank course for a weekend!).
I co own a small Bar for my sins & work 72hrs a week subbing for network rail so what little ''time off''' I have Is indulging in my Falcons & prancing around in a suit of armour doing Medieval Events. The heavy tents ,armour & kit require a decent tow vehicle off muddy fields.
I presently own a 97 Disco MPI 2ltr with LPG conversion & sunroof in the floor lol (floor plate in box ready to be welded in place at the first day off i get)which is economical enough for me to use it everyday for work over the large distances I drive.
I have owned previously a disco 3.5 petrol last year and a Classic Rangie about 15 years ago.
So after finding this site by accident -Was and still am looking for advice as to how I can use my old Lucas 4bd blocking diode to split charge a two battery system.(or is it better to get one of the fancy split charging units available today?)
