New wheels

Hi all,
Mid life crisis! Have a Freelander 1 td4 3dr 2006. Currently have basic alloys (5 spoke standard) with 215/65/16. I am looking to buy a set of Sport alloys (9 spoke) from the sport model (official LR wheels). complete with tyres 235/60/18. Will they fit straight on, if so do I have to fiddle with the gear drive speedo cable to adjust the new speedo reading?

Now that is a mid-life crisis.
Sell it quick and buy a pre TD5 Defender.
If you get a TD5 at least thats just a mild crisis (so a step in the right direction), but don't be tempted to buy a Puma (or anything with a Transit or Peugot engine) as that will upgrade you to a full blown state of disagreement, confusion, and suffering leading you into a false sense of security which will terminate as you go round a bend far to quickly ...

I can't help with your question, you might want to ask over in the freelander section, more likely someone who knows will see it and let you know.
I would have thought the speedo works of the abs sensor? Im not sure though.
