I currently have a 98 3 door hardback 1.8l petrol gayland, I have the ****ty steel wheels on it atm and want to change to some 17" alloys and put some colway 225/55/17 AT tyres on. My question is will I need my suspension raised for me to be able to put these on? (haven't purchased either as of yet)

Thanks in advance :)

You will not need to touch the suspension. The overall circumference of both sets of wheels will be very similar. As the Wheel size increases, the profile decreases. Ie 15" use an 80 profile whereas 17" use a 55 profile.

Enjoy your new alloys (when you get them)

Regards,

Steve
