You seem to be going down the same path as me, loved my hilux 2.4 pick up but felt the cab was a bit small and needed a four seater at least, so went and sold the hilux and with half the money brought a disco!! regrets none really, the one i brought needed a fair bit of welding but would not go back.

Welcome, I was in East Tamaki a couple of weeks ago for two weeks on business. Also spent a couple of days in Rotorua.

I digress.............Saw plenty of series 1's out there, not so many series 2's. I know diesel is not taxed if you are a farmer etc, do you pay a separate premium if private? Still probably cheaper!

You like rivers...................wouldn't like to venture near Huka Falls! :D

What are you looking to get a TDi or V8? You'll love it whatever you go for.

i would like a TDI but have been told they go thur camblets about 65.000km and if they go then i am up for a new motor i like the fact that there in fulltime 4x4 do they have a lockup diff
