Evening all
Today I worked my way around my FL2 fitting new brake pads.
I did the front 2 first resetting the piston etc. Took it for a test drive and all was fine, just the usual bedding in feeling.
Then I did the rears resetting the piston both sides.
Took it for another test drive but something didn’t feel right. As I approached 50/60mph it felt like I was dragging something, there was some vibration too but no lights on dash . I thought it was maybe a flat tyre. I pulled over and I had the windows down so I could smell that hot brake whiff. No flat tyre.
I checked the brake fluid level which was fine. I pushed the brake pedal and it went to the floor but then when pumped went back to where it should be with plenty of resistance.
I had no choice but to drive the 2 miles back home with same dragging feeling.
Feeling rather confused as I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong.
if anyone else has experienced this and managed to resolve it let me know please
cheers in advance
