Hi all, after a new fob for my old mans p38
Rung my local dealer and they came back with 164 inc vat, ive searched and threads from a few years popped up with varying prices so just wondered if anyone knows of a cheaper place before i bite the bullet

main stealer only for the full working key

need a new one myself after Kwik Fit in Hyde Cheshire broke my only working key!!!

indeed they are, they have been arguing and fighting it for well over a week now and I'm waiting a call back from the area manager (I'll chase him up later)

but I shouldn't have to be without a key, out of pocket because they are a bunch of clumsy oafs that turned a working key into a rattle!? with no working buttons?
 
hi , tell the dealer in stockport to fek off ,there con merchants ,!!!!!!!!!!!!
A) the key doesn't need syncing
B) new key cost £130.. inc vat from main dealer Williams's Manchester
C) Go to dealer with v5 plus I,d, driving licence , pay money ,they order key usually No 4 . key made by huff in Germany ,delivered to Coventry then to your dealer " who rings you to say its here " all taken usually 4 days !!!!!!!
ive covered this a million times in last 2 years :):):)

DO NOT, REPEAT "DO NOT" BUY OFF E-BAY ,, YOU MIGHT AS WELL THROW YOUR MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN NOW ....ALSO THE CASES WITH BLANK KEYBLADE IN ARE NOT EXACT COPY OF ORIGINAL , YOU HAVE TO ALTER INTERNAL SPACE TO FIT "YOUR" CIRCUIT BOARD " SO PLEASE BE WARNED ,,, BEEN THERE DONE IT GOT THE T-SHIRT ETC ETC ETC ,, THEY PRETEND TO BE EXPERTS ":eek::eek::eek: BUT ALAS THERE "NOT" OH THAT REMINDS ME ,,, !!!!!!!!!!! CHEERS AND KIND REGARDS MOZZ :):):)

Thanks Mozz

I was thinking I could just use my Nanocom to sync it, but I would have expected it to work out of the box? Loads of videos on You Tube regards syncing with a Nanocom

wouldn't touch an eBay special, not for a P38
 
johnny bring your old key to me with a new case off fleabay and il'l show or help you to re vamp it then you've got a spare for the price of the case I think there about £8 not sure not bought one for a while .... p.m. me an il'l give yo my noumber im only 5 mins away cheers MOZZ,

will call as soon as this mess with Kwik Fit is resolved (pop the kettle on again) I'll bring biscuits

Re-syncing the rolling code for the FOB is covered in your owners manual, it varies according to the year of car, in my MY2000, it's simply a matter of opening the door with the key and putting it in the ignition, early models are slightly different.
 
My car came with all 4 keys 2 remotes 1 working the other had flat batteries I have of course replaced them the red led lights up the key blade unlocks the car and turns the ignition but it no matter what I have tried it will not zap the car.

The remote just won't unlock/lock the car or disable the alarm yes I tried every thing in the owners book even a special book at a local garage to no avail. Am I missing something or is my suspicion that this remote mite be an eBay special from a different car ??????
