There's 5 or 6mm on the pads so I'll come back to that once I've got the bike MOTs sorted... I'm not sure what a WOF is, but it's due a service in 600 miles so i'll give it a bit of a fuss then

5 or 6 mm is 2 or 3mm of wearing pad material. The last 3mm is a mix of pad material and adhesive, which isn't as good as pure pad material. You'll notice the brakes getting heavier as they wear into this area of the pads, so replace the pads and rotors at 3mm of material left. The pads wear at about 0.25mm per 1000 miles, so you've got a little while yet.

A WOF is the New Zealand version of the UK MOT, which is 6 monthly over there.
