hi
got my first landy at weekend and enjoyed week of driving to work - today i've been underneath and greased all the propshafts. while i had a rear wheel up on jack i rotated the prop to see why it makes a clunk when i drive off or change gear - unless i'm careful with clutch to be smooth.
the guy i bought it from said they are just like that? i can rotate the prop approx 35-45degrees before the wheels engage - is that normal?
it is the salisbury axle - 1987 station wagon with 200tdi engine conversion. should there be that much rotation before take up in the diff - what is normal and what can/should i do?
Thanks
