hello anyone reading this.
i have just aquired my first ever 4 x 4, a 94 plated discovery 5 door 2.5 automatic. as far as discovery's go can anyone advise on what to look out for? I dont yet know much about them but I can say its better than the c max.:rolleyes:
 
Rust rust rust oh and Rust!!!! Most likely to be found copulating in the following places. Rear boot floor, rear wheel arches (5 Door) rear crossmember and body mounts, rear chassis legs, inner sills and front inner wings
 
many thanks - and i am now reassured that the new metal welded onto the areas you have mentioned and which i have noticed is down to the previous owner not wanting to sell a rusty car. On a brighter note i do have a nearly upto date landrover service history.
