My example would be P38 diesel lift pumps. OE is silly money, VDO is £120 and up to the job, Britpart is £35 because it will be crap.
Dangerous thing is you will presume it’s got a new pump so be looking for the issue elsewhere. Then things get expensive with little result.

You sat that, bit the Britpart lift pump has been working fine in my project car for 3 years now. True it does not do a lot of miles. Britpart brake callipers for the P38 are good too.

Dopey had a lot of trouble for years, went thorough quite few until buying a VDO. Whatever one is in mine doesn’t do anything.
You have to be careful with your wheel balance weights with the callipers as they have an edge to them that OE don’t. You’ll be okay with standard wheels/tyres but I have silly ones so Weights would catch.
