Surely theyd entertain the idea of a voluntary buy back before nicking them back off people? Not that I have anythin ex-mil.
Ljackson are selling 109's (ex mil) for £100 - £500 as a final clearance if anyone's interrested?

You're quite correct, we aren't.
Quite possibly because this sounds a bit like a **** take... If it was a war, then yes it could be possible. But its not. It's merely a 'situation of prolonged conflict'.
Anybody who is really in the know could shed some light on this?
 
an old mate of mine just e mailed me with some real startling noos. it seems that the MOD is now employing imigrant eastern europeans to shift through the sand in the butts on firing ranges.
After they have collected enough spent bullets they have to then file the rifling marks off then and insert then into reconditioned cases
 
my mate says time team are goona dig up some spears from the roman ages for re-commisioning as BAE hasnt got any icbm's left
