Do you not think that having posted only 3 post's on the forum that member's on here might laugh their sock's off at the thought of letting a total stranger use one of their motor's? Probably best option is to use a legit hire firm, such as the one pikey suggested.

Actually I thought someone might be glad of a few hundred quid if their circumstances were right.
Thanks for the warm welcome to the forum though...

Have you asked the dealership if they can help out? Someone I know ordered a Porsche 911 (yes, I know it's a bit different) and they lent him a boxster until the 911 turned up....

Worth a try anyway.

you can borrow my D1 if you want, so long as when you get your D4 I can borrow that, straight away, for as long :D

Stop ****ing on my parade - I am up for £600 a month at the mo. He can have hours of endless fun with Tufftee ( a truck cab disco1). It will show him what owning a landy is all about :D

yes thanks ;)

So you think it would make good sense to "lend" you're vehicle to someone you've never met. I can think of a few reasons why it wouldn't be a sensible thing to do.

The chances of never seeing it again are pretty high
Chances are your vehicle will be cloned or the engine or transmission will be swapped??
You'll have used your vehicle for "hire or reward" Thus invalidating your insurance should it be involved in an accident or a smash & grab raid.

I could go on but I won't. TO be fair and balanced (because I am usually) I tried to think of a reason why someone would lend you the use of their vehicle. But I really couldn't think of one other than proving to the whole forum what an absolute plonker you'd been when ya D3 disappeared in a container to Bangladesh.

ill lend ya mine.Once youve explained how ya gonna insure it.
OR try shbbefore festival season kicks off
