My passenger side wiper blade doesn't touch the lower left of the screen at the lowest point of the stroke. A triangular area about 8 inches wide and tall remains uncleared when wet. I just changed to Bosch Wiper Sperblade Plus but the problem remains. I lubed the spring and hinge on the wiper arm but to no avail. Any ideas please?

I had trouble with the blades not touching the screen completely last time I changed them.
I found that the little claws holding the blades were just a tad too tight. I loosened them up with a fine screwdriver, except the one set at the very top end which actually hold the blades in place and everything was OK when I refitted them.

Our TD5 does this on the front and back. I think the springs in the wiper arms have gone weak, as they don't seem to go back onto the screen with much force when you pull them away.

That's what I was thinking. I wonder if you can replace the springs only?

I had this problem. Over time, the spring becomes weak and is not pressing the brush all the way to the glass. I built a new bracket for the spring and now she pulled stronger spring and holds the brush firmly against the glass.

it builts corrosion on the surface where the mobile arm slips over the part which is bolted to the spigot and the spring doesnt have enough power to override that... remove the arm, clean the surfaces with abrasive paper and use some anticor lubricating spray on it untill you feel that it moves easyer... worked for me....or convert to the uglyer but more reliable D1 arms...then you can buy blades from any supermarket or gas station;)
