Nasty looking defender crash in Powys

Has anybody seen this?! What are people's thoughts? Never seen a defender look so bad I have no idea how these guys survived!!!

It appears that being thrown out of the vehicle is probably what saved them (?)
Wearing seat belts not always a good idea?
