It seems that both units can read engine functions, I went to my pages on the nanocom site and I have the same set up as Bigeee shows on the previous page of this thread.
i.e. engine management for defender and discovery.
Yes that's what I hoped when I started out, I suppose, that they use the same engine management, because when I look into my ECU I see functions which I don't have they just don't connect them, I think this is pretty standard in the auto industry they just make the minimum of different components, I can remember when some cars had standard wiring looms which had connections for every option they just hook up the bits you pay for.
