The gearbox is a good one, have had winchester gears check it over and they're happy with it. Never had a bad part from him.
I'm the same lol, can sit chatting for hours about cars. The P38 is my first ever Land Rover.

Had a Series 3, a 3000tdi Disco and now P38
I've got a P38 I wouldn't mind dropping a Series 3 body on. Could be fun lol.

Oh yes A few years back a neighbour bought a jeep. At first he bragged about it but then when it came to buying spare parts, boy were they expensiveAs long as you're calling them a load of sh1te ,carry on
. Nowadays I help him out when he has problems with his Range Rover he he. How the mighty have fallen

The golf or the series 2a?Now that is bordering on insanity
Ive had two golf's, a mk1 1.3 driver in Mars red that looked like a gti even with the wheels and grill and a 1979 black 1.0 or 1.2? 4 door. Oh and my old series 2a from 62.... I wish I still had all of them...

Twas a golf GTi. Manager I had at the time was his company car. I needed to go to Preston for the day on a course and he insisted I go in the golf so he didn't have to pay me fuel expenses. Who was I to disagree with himThe golf or the series 2a?
