Hiya Ratty
As have stated, i give due credit to your decision not to simply delete this thread, along with the usual spam posts you might have cause or reason to delete on a daily basis, despite it initially smelling very fishy and spam like, which others had noted. My initial input was primarily designed to vindicate this decision and thread, notify all here that Nanocom was under new management, and validate the OP's post about the fact that a group buy was going on (Sadly on) another forum :)

We will of course do our best to better support the Nanocom system as i have indicated and our support of the EVO may well bleed over into improvements in the the older non EVO unit, but we / I really cannot make any guarantees.

However, in terms of BBS intervention, generally it can so obviously be nothing other than good news all round. :)

hey BBS guy

I have to say I just browsed your site and If the Nanocom evo get the sort of support your other units do, vids, forums ect then we are in for a treat with Miattia doing the development I hope we will see a better product all round, just hope this wont force the price up by too much

The offer is now closed as there is no supply till the new price is agreed, that's not such a good sign. guess we shall see a much more expensive nanocom when they are available again. Thinking I bought at the right time.

Hiya again all

Sorry to have not responded sooner, the plus 2 hour shift we have in Cyprus, has however, and most unusually in this case, coupled with a 2-3 day virus that has seen me totally incapacitated until now, and i still feel like i was run over by a bus :(

Ratty, try as one might, you really cannot draw any kind of comparison between the Nanocom EVO and the previous Nanocom. How can anyone possibly compare a high resolution 320 x 240 full color graphic display with finger operable touch screen input against a 2 tone, 2 x 16 character display with 4 button input. It's like comparing an Iphone with something Nokia made 10 years ago.

Sadly as everyone knows, the supply, support, documentation, administration and availability has always let this otherwise quite remarkable product down.
Those are however all aspects that BBS can likely address and rectify quite economically and substantially using nothing more than it's existing infrastructure.

I spose that'll explain why I use a 10 year old Nokia 6310i.:D:D:D

(no I'm not joking).
