If you can't get the too bolts then take the plenum, base and inlet manifold off in situ and you can get a spanner on them which you can apply a mallet to
do the lift before the engine, make it soo easy to get the bell housing bolts off!
yep and yepbeen thinking that, but will make it 2" higher to lift the engine out? guess i could deflate the tyres to balance that out if i needed it lower

Well if they arrive by weekend will try that, i purchased a mini ratchet so that may be able to get to the tricky ones. But if not body lift is looking good, not looking forward to trying to get bumpers to look good though
It would just be a case of getting it in position, clamp, mark ,drill, fit
Lol you could strip the botom end and take the pistons out and lift the block out with your hands. Those stuck tappets would defo cause the tapping! Just check the bearings for play aswell.
Need to see a pic tbh.. obove the cam between the followers is a bit rough cut
i'd check cam lobe and if ok stick a new follower in and run that. looks a clean engine.
