Hi
I've seen a lot of guys put the box for the controls in the engine bay. Then it will be more protected and nobody will see the white cable ties. Only problem is, then you will have to open the bonnet every time you want to use the winch.
The leads are a bit short to do that, i had intended to do that, and no i wouldnt need to open the bonnet as it also has a wireless remote that works great
does it work?
it works a treat!!! its 12000lbs / 6 tonne
I really, really like that - takes the P38 from a 'soft' looking real offroader to a proper, go-anywhere looking vehicle! Obviously has cost a fair bit of time and effort to do, so what you gonna use it for? And don't say winching!!
i live on a mountain and i also do a little bit of farming, ill get a land anchor and use it for self recovery and for getting up to the high lands to sice stock at the back of my house.
actually its not. that pic doesent really do it justice. plus the suspension is on the deck while i was working on itAngle of attack looks a bit low tho.
like it but....
is it just me or with those wrap around bars, light guards etc. it looks a bit like a gaylander
NEVER!!! when it actually goes off road people would never think it was a gaylander!! i think it looks aggressive as hell!! but thats just my taste
