Yes i remember you saying now how it was also extremely difficult to get parts for.

Does it share anything with the rover v8?

Its fine to get bits for as most parts are shared with the rv8.

Its just main bearings, crank obviously and valley gasket that are different so most parts are easy

I am gonna stockpile a bit, found out that the carb is the same as on about 90 percent of the Aussie carbs of the period and a holden re-build kit sorts it

Oh, not too bad then. Crank is unlikely to be an issue and worst case can be reground

Ive got some bearings coming at standard and .20

I am hoping not to re-build it at all. I will put it on the stand 2moz and get some pics then do a comp test .

I have to put it to one side for a while so I can put the car back together then but after that I am going to try and run it.

just need to decide if I should build the test rig with the guages and rad etc or just put it in the car and pull it out if it leaks
