I picked up this little beauty at the weekend...
She's a 1983 ex-military 2.25 petrol, with a very solid looking chassis and bulkhead, and 38,000km on the clock, but as always there's a few things need sorting, as and when funds allow - mostly little niggles that should be easy (like a non-functioning fuel gauge, reversing light and lighter socket), though I will be fitting an overdrive when I can find one...
Photos in the history also show her with side windows, so I'll refit those when I can find a set of sides with windows already in - I'm reluctant to cut the ones I've got as I understand they are getting rare.
I've got a new alternator on order as I suspect the current one isn't charging quite as well as it should, and there's a tapping noise from cold - I'm told this is likely to be the exhaust manifold blowing slightly?
