I am returning a very well looked after, low mileage , P38 Range rover to full spec glory . My latest project is to replace what are immaculate cream leather manual seats to electric. It seems I should not have a problem with the BECM AS IT IS HIGH LINE ON A 2000 M/Y, my question is about the air bags in the seat do I need to do anything special or is the fact that the ignition is off with the key out enough or do I need to disconnect the battery. Secondly do I need to switch the BECM on or reset it in any way

I did my 4.0 R reg with the key out and it didn't trigger any fault codes.....as standard high line becm comes with electric seat option on but you will need to fit a loom. Easy job. Good luck.
