Oh hang on, wrong way. I couldnt bolt the box down as needed some new mounting bushes, so picked them up from the local specialist and ill go back and bolt it down tomorrow ready to get the engine mounts welded on. Also struck a deal with the guy to get my out riggers that i need for the same price i found them on the net. I think ill be a regular at Phils place!

Right so today i arrived, armed with my new mounts:

IMG_1195.jpg

And got the Gearbox and TX box mounted:

IMG_1202.jpg

Then jacked it all back up to cut the old engine mounts off, and grinded back the welds:

IMG_1204.jpg

Then i bolted up the old disco mounts that need welding on here after id flapped them down:

IMG_1206.jpg

And dug out 2 of the 4 out riggers that need welding on. Pick the other two up saturday:

And then got the donors rear axle ready to go to Johns, as he's buying it for his 90:

Just wondering do you "do project work" for a living or hobby?

I get the feeling from the thread and title that this one is to be your toy.

Is there anyone on here that plays with Land Rovers, either re shelling them, restoring them, exop fitting them, exporting them?

I would love to do something like that for a living but think it will have to come as my retirement present!

Collected my new rear outriggers:

IMG_1226.jpg

Got them welded on, and then the Engine mounts:

IMG_1231.jpg

And engine mounted :)
