Now getting someone else to rebuild it for you is just missing out on all the fun. That's part of the joy/misery of owning a landy
I take it the capping is being replaced with new?
Quick word to the wise. Have it galvanised first (like it used to be), it is dead cheap to have done (having all the capping done should only cost about £15) and it will last for ever.
Noticed that you are in Cambs which is even better. I use East Anglian Galvanising in Sawtry. Excellent service and like I say, really reasonable charges.
