Fitted floflex to my 90 a couple of years ago, front ones are now totally fooked and thats mainly road use nowadays, but in the beginning they had some serious abuse, overall not to impressed at all, now got a set of std ones to fit.

Cheers mate. Looks simply difficult... ####ed my thumb so leaving the tough stuff till its better.

First job for the weekend as its cheap and sunny is the rear diff pinion seal! Annoying COVERED in waxoyl so they will be pain in the ass nuts to get off.

Headlight Hight Adjusters Inop - Didnt even know I had these. Worth
fixing? Mine were same, needed new Bowls, as they rust, went for plastic Land Rover Defender & Series Bearmach Headlight Headlamp Bowl Kit 7" x 2 Pair | eBay

Then took it down national tyres on sevenoaks way (near nugents) and used their machine to align, they didn't charge me as i did it myself, just used their machine thing.
gave the bloke a fiver for letting me do it.

With regards to the FPR, I just bought a rebuild kit as the alloy block is not going to break, it's usually just the rubber seal inside the actual regulator.

I threw an old blanket on top of the engine, lay on it and reached down to do the work.

Bankz if you ever venture North to Luton, I can press in new bushes no probs. I may even have a spare set of arms kicking about for a few beer tokens

Cheers dude! Very occasionally yeah! Won't be doing that till March probably.

Thanks guys very helpful, need to check these lights. Edit - Just remember the motors are actually missing off both sides! There's a cable with the standard LR plug thats there but plugs into nothing...

Ive seen the rebuild kits but read its hit and miss over weather it fixes it or not, so just going to replace the whole thing.

Doing the Fan Bearing with a mechanic friend of mine in a couple of weeks so shouldnt be too tough!

Finally got around to doing the swivels yesterday, pretty straight forward job. Except I bought the Bearmach kit and Timken bearings, the Bearmach pins do not fit the Timkens!

We looked at the LR pins which could have been brand new, no damage, pitting and the Timkens fit on there perfectly with zero play.

So out of thr Bearmach kit i used the seals, gaskets & one shot, nothing else :/

Did snap a flange bolt doing everything back up again. Otherwise everything seems good! Super smooth action, no leaks (so far!)
