Last time I got stuck, I was recovered by my neighbour, driving my own 109!

Hmm heavy and lumbering. Good combination.Got one of these stuck in a farmers field whilst proving its inability on New Years day 1994 - Lets say my boss didn't take it well, neither did the fitters who had to replace a broken drive shaft, but worst of all were my mates who had to spend 5 hours digging it out View attachment 137987
I notice more n more folk simply posting their vehicular issues in post no.1 where in the past they would have caught a tongue lashing, has there been a shift attitudes towards such behaviours?

We have NOTHING! I appreciate that this is hard to come to terms with when, by most, reception is just accept as 'normal'.A text or Wattsapp requires considerably less signal than a voice call...

Yup. It’s not hard to have an active map - in real time if needed - that flags this sort of thingIf that is found to be the case then it surely would be a red flag and make any potential issue a higher risk on the analysis. May make you turn away and go find a service to request more help to be on hand, rather than attempt it by yourself and get yourself and the rescuee further into trouble.
Cheers
good idea. we would need one for BB, myself and every volunteer. Who would pay for them?I use this and although it costs money, it is a 2-way text based conmuications platform and would be ideal for LZIR

1) you cant be a member of LZIR because we could never call you out.
2) you can never ask to be rescued necause you couldnt contact us.
