Just renewed with 'Frank Pickles' and listed a whole load of items from suspension lift, over drive, tree sliders, winch snorkel, swing away wheel carrier etc etc and none it made any difference to the policy fee, which was also cheaper than all of the quotes I got from the normal Landy Insurers!!

Have you got a phone number for Frank pickles please :) (will do a search for them in a minute aswell)

And would they take into acct. pass plus and what have ya ?

I suppose what pee's me off is that I been driving and insured since I was 17 and had 5 years NCB 3 years ago With CIS insurance, when I joined Aviva with the Traffic van I had at the end of the insurance they sent my proof of no claims back as 4 years when I questioned it they told me they only gave a maximum of 4 years to drivers under 25 and as I was only 24 at the time I lost a years NCB.

I've also just read through my policy documents again and it says I am insured to tow a trailer, caravan or other motor vehicle in accordance with my licence and regulations, how the feck can you tow a trailer or caravan if ya ain't got a towbar  Also there is no mention of my pass plus on the policy documents even tho I told them about it and gave them the details Surely that should be on there and lower the price of the insurance ???

I'll give them a call on monday and ask what would happen in regards to me insurance if I RE-fitted the towbar that I removed when I bought the motor and see what they say.

mines ex e.a came with winch roofrack extra lights towbar and a few other extras courtesy of special vehicles, was told as they were factory fitted theyre not classed as mods

Insurance is now all sorted thanks to a wonderful young lady at lancasters.

:) WOOT!! :biggrin1: :biggrin1:

I wonder if she's married
