Nope, no parts list. I've built lots of engines over the years and always have these odds and ends copper washers left over, just wondered what they're for.

The stuff you have left over is almost identical to what I had left over when I rebuilt my head. I wondered at the time what the 8 washers were for, I started thinking what there was 8 of and thought valves but even when changing the valve guides these washers did not feature. The little aluminium washers I found no home for either. The 4 copper washers I thought were maybe to do with sensors.

I thought valves at first, but only because theres 8, but in reality a copper washer on a valve won't last long.

The other 4 look like they may be for banjo union possibly? But the shaped one on its own and the silver ones I have no clue.

Well I was thinking more something to do with valves, like tappets but they are not head, not literally for the valves. The 4 are about the right size for smaller banjos yes. I think I used them for a sensor at a later date though. The 8 are a funny shape, almost like a C profile.

banjo washers 8,,,,,4 injector bottom washers,,,,,,2 ally spill pipe washers and a sump washer me thinks

Reasonable guesses, but no.

The 4 left over are not injector washers, 300tdi and 200tdi for that matter injector washers have a central lip running round them, so they are not injector washers - the kit comes with proper injector washers anyway.

Almost certainly not Banjo washers, they are always just plain parallel sided washers or dowty washers nothing like the 8 you are left with, they are just plain odd! Where would you use 8 banjo washers on the 300tdi head anyway?

The spill pipe washers are much smaller and there should be 4!

That is not a sump washer for sure.

Having rebuilt 300tdi engines and bought this kit several times I can say for sure they are not used in any of the applications mentioned.

not all injector washers are lipped! 8 banjo washers on 4 banjo bolts 2 on filter head 2 on fip pump spill pipe to filter head maybe,,

Morning Gasto, I think I see why you jumped to the conclusion I was saying all injector washers are lipped, I know they are not, but what I was alluding to was that in this context; that being a 300tdi head kit, all 300tdi and 200tdi for that matter (although it ought not to factor into this as it's not a 200tdi kit) injector washers are lipped. I wasn't saying all 300tdi and 200tdi and for that matter all injector washers in general are lipped. I just mentioned the 200tdi just in case there was any ambiguity as to the kits purpose - i.e. the plain ones are for the 200tdi and the lipped are for the 300tdi.

I like your thinking outside the box but bear in mind, it is a head kit, so they don't furnish you with bits for filters and injection pumps. Look closely at the 8 washers - next time I am at my tool chest I will take a photo of one of the 48 I must now have. You will then see why they are just odd bastard washers.
