Arc welders are cheap as chips tho, jist wanna play about for the moment. want summat simple to get me started. Had me first lesson in France last week. It were MIG but wire were rusty an it kept gitin stuck. It were'nt easy to learn on. Not fer a blonde bint anyhow.

I dont know. Yeh its no good starting on a crap welder. Like ya going to do buy ya self one and play with it.....lol :eek:

ARC are for thick metals & Mig are for thin metals like landrover chassis after 30 years of rust......lol :eek:

Mmmm. So mig would be more useful fer Landy's. But if I wanna build ocean liners, an arc welder would be better. So I guess I have to decide what I wanna do wiff it. I jist wanna weld loads of stuff together! Then the novelty will probly wear off.. But it wud be useful to be able to weld some patches on me chassis as its holey... aww ffs. I dun't know! Someone else cud weld patches on me chassis n I cud jist 'play' weld. In which case I mite as well jist get a cheep one orf Yella...
 
I take one night owf and the Wine Bar terns inta tratter pub, weldun talk un tratter bits...next thing they'll be wantin ta join the Gaylander Black Arm Rest Gang un ay draw the line there. Sheesh! Glad Porky is back tho, keep sniffin lad...watch them tratter types.
