Anyone got any suggestions on where to buy a swb military fuel tank?
Normal tanks seem to be about 50quid, so far scanning the net and
the mags I've only found one ad and they want 100quid! Ouch.
Only had it a week!

Its got a pin hole (rust) about a third of the way up and is also leaking at
the seam just below this hole at the front of the tank. A shame I could
do without the exspense since it also needs the brakes and clutch master
cylinder sorting!

Matt

flush it out with a **** load of water, leave a hose running in it over night clean up rust and solder the holes using a patch if need be.

I'v got one you could have if your local enough to pick it up. It has gone a bit rusty inside as the top hasn't been covered. But it was new late last year and it still looks shiney!!!

Wow thats really nice of you, even if I have to get it picked up thats going to save
me a load of money.

I've only had it a week and so far the brakes had gone (new lines needed throughout)
clutch master cyclinder has gone, fuel tank gone and either valve stem oil
seals or worn bores. Ho hum got suckered in by a shiny exterior. So my nice
"new" landy is up on axle stands the kids are far from happy!

Best Regards

Matt

No problem,
I had two and I'v used one myself. You can just see it on the picture below. I'v got plenty of spare brake pipe as well if you need it.
