"its only warranted for 12 months guv", its already been back to them in the first month and since taking it out doesn't look like it had the mods done to it either, its not a question of knowing best its about either saving it or breaking it, which if this doesn't work is exactly what will happen to it
Think trying to fit a manual is a waste of time. But it's your car do as you will.
park was the choice so the key can be extracted and to make life simple, i don't see a problem in driving it whilst it thinks it in park
well drove it round the yard today no faults on display seems to work fine just need to tidy it up a bit, i now have the only l322 range rover manual, unless anyone knows other wise

There are quite few people that will make gearlever & handbrake gaiters to measure in leather, I have had a gear lever gaiter made for the MR2 and a hand brake one for the P38 project
