the rusty bit is a gear lever from a 1.4 golf picked up from the scrap pile had the perfect length

There are quite few people that will make gearlever & handbrake gaiters to measure in leather, I have had a gear lever gaiter made for the MR2 and a hand brake one for the P38 project

my usual trimmer is on lock down

Hampshire one pulled it out a pig pen only bit of welding was a new rear cross member for towing other than a rebuild of the big red bob weight on front its untouched
