guys, can you recomend a drill as well? my old one is keyless and I f it up, and can only use the drill bit thats in it lol. Opps, using hammer function while not locking it or smoething has caused it to fuse. It's about time I got a new one. I want it mostly for landy, but you know, masonry as well. or best to get one for each job?

i use screwfix as i have an account there and order a lot each week , apart from that b& q int too bad on price. shop around as for a drill , what ever yer fancy buyin , all depends on yer pocket money :)

I've had my bosch blue grinder for approx 20 yrs now, never a problem, you might find the drill a little under powered though, soon you will have so many tools you will need a double garage to house them all, go girl

naw no PM, yeah drill is only 600 watts. I got a perfomance 1050 watt one from few years back, but I somehow moulded the keyless chuck part and cant change my drill parts lol. I got mould grips on it once, but its fused again and there is no budging it!

Take off the chuck and see if it still trips, if not - just buy a new chuck for a tenner...

btw, to get the chuck off you need to unscrew the pozi screw inside the chuck (where you'd normally put the drill bit!)

Its a left hand thread so tighten to loosen ;)

hmmm not sure what I did then. I have taken some snaps. The drill bit is in, so cant unscrew it or anything. But there is a bolt, as shown in picture.

cant get to the screw, the drill bit is in the way....

looks pretty well knackered to me, unless you can get the drill out, aside from smashing it with a hammer can't see there is much you can do
