Mantec group purchase!

Not by much, and judging by the amount of interest, you may be waiting for a good while if you did wait for group buy to be fair.
 
Seeing as there is now in theory 5 people for the Snorkel, I will see what they are saying about doing it at £200. Will see what luck they have had with a 3dr light bar.

Update from Mantec as of thursday! There will be 5 snorkels available in the first batch as he has 5 tubes already made and as such is easy to make up the rest of the components. He is trying to find out the MOQ for more from Senior Mgmt. Should have an update tomorrow.
 
Might be interested. I need to look realistically if the old girls worth all the work or get a disco. Few things to fix. I had water coming over onto bonnet this weekend and if I'm fixing her up I would be looking at a snorkel.
What do they look like - I like subtle, not chav. Couldn't live with a bling/chav pipe on her.
 
They are to the same spec as the G4 snorkels. The V6 is the same as the TD4 Snorkel, it was just badly branded when they originally sold it, as the part number contained V6 but not TD4 in it.
 
Hi Guys. I have had a long chat with the tech guys at mantec and pinned them down on pricing. Now they have some of the parts but as the bits needed to complete the kits are special order they were going to raise the price on the original 2009 prices (posted earlier in the topic). HOWEVER I have managed to get them to lower the price overall by a few quid, even with increased manufacturing and shipping costs. So for the first people to provide deposits (will confirm the method but will be direct to mantec, so all safe) will get the snorkel for £250 delivered and including VAT. Thats a saving of a fiver on the old price. This side of the winter there will be only these five available, after which it may take a much bigger order to get any more. I am waiting on more developments in their senior managment team to hear about the front 2" reciever or the 3dr light bars. If those that are still interested could PM me a confirmation that they want it, I will then confirm all the financials etc with the guys over at Mantec.

hi when is the closing date? really want a td4 snorkel tank protection, sump protection, and rock sliders, but need to sell some of my tools first, gain some 4x4 funds. wont have an answer till they're sold.

No closing date. This will be open ended. The five snorkels are gone when they are gone, after that, its up to everyone what they want next kinda thing. Im trying to convince them that they need some stocks by clearing them out of the old stuff.
 
Hi Guys. Mantec are going ahead with the production of the five snorkels. Lead time is two weeks, and they will take payment in full once they are ready to dispatch. Payment is either via card or paypal direct to Mantec.
 
The exhaust guard comes with the receiver hitch. As a kit it comes with a towing eye attachment, and a towball and possibly a blank.
 
I would like to get another group for ordering a exhaust guard kit , td4 snorkel and sump guard for mid jan. if people are interested.

You might want to get in on the current group buy for the TD4 Snorkel depending on how fast they go as there may not be any more afterwards.
